Jeremy Rossa Cole
Mixed Media Assemblages
Humble planks of wood form the foundation for these assemblages, which incorporate treasures found in friends’ pockets, along woodland paths and shorelines, in roadside ‘free’ piles, and in places that recycle. Add fresh paint, paper and photographs, and a visual mystery unfolds.
Grounded on wood left-overs from projects, friends, and building sites, embellished with paint, paper and ‘found’ objects of every kind, held together with nails, screws and glues—each unique piece tells a story.
Jeremy has worked as a Jungian-oriented psychotherapist since 1997, and as an artist since September of 2021. Dreams, shared stories and the collective unconscious supply the Archetypal images that weave through her art. Jeremy’s work has been featured in two private shows, one three-month solo exhibition and one juried show. For issues related to art, she may be reached at: “earthartbyjeremy@gmail.com”.
