Kitsap Square Dance

Washington State's declared square dancing its official dance in 1979 but Kitsap County has been square dancing since the 1950s. There is a beautiful dance hall with a huge wooden floor located on the Old Belfair Hwy in Gorst. People of all ages dance for all kinds of reasons. The music and the dancing significantly improve mental and physical health.  But it may be the positive and supportive people that matter most. Come see for yourself at our next free open house on Wednesday, September 13, 2023. The fun starts at 7pm. Come early for cookies! Classes begin the following week.
