I use the world around me, and especially our natural environment as inspiration for every paper cut I do. I usually start with a photograph or a selection of photographs and then sketch on the back of a black piece of paper. Piece by piece, I cut out the image with an x-acto knife and complete the paper cut by either adhering a single colored sheet or many different colored pieces onto the back.
